After buying and listening to Lincoln Brewsters 'Best Of' tracks of him playing some great classics in today's contemporary scence, the first thing I fell in love with, was his style. This man can play guitar. And adding that amazing tradition called 'soloing' is definetly what stands him out from the rest. I was a little 'iffy' on buying his new album without listening to a couple tracks, but I'm glad I decided to give in. The first three tracks are simply amazing. Upbeat, and full of truth spoken lyrics, combined with amazing riffs that don't just add noise to the song, but yet, give it that amazing feeling that keeps you wanting more. And that's one thing that I love about Lincoln's style. He doesn't just solo to fill the spot. He actually creates the riff to harmonize with the music. And, of course, one thing I did notice, especially on 'Arms of My Savior' was some key parts that made you think you were listening to a John Mayer track. Now, I haven't confirmed this, but I'm pretty John played a role in Lincoln's choice for style. This CD is a must own for anybody who loves contemporary music, who can open up to a whole new level with the mix of amazing guitar riffs, and beautiful solo's that fit each song PERFECT!
