The Persuaded is a high energy Christian Rock/Metal band formed in 2010 out of the middle Tennessee area.

The inception of the band happened when vocalist/guitarist, Josh Honea decided to take a stand against depression, anxiety and suicide and start a band who writes songs about complicated life experiences and give hope in Jesus Christ through them. Making ministry the top priority.

Recruiting original/current drummer Trent Russell, The Persuaded began their journey, releasing two EP's and a single and having had several member changes over the years since the inception of the band; the current lineup formed when Guitarist Cody Phillips offered to fill in on bass and guitar when needed after original bassist Caylee Parks parted ways with the band in early 2015. By the end of the year, Cody joined the band full time on lead guitar. Shortly after they met a local vocalist named Joseph Vargas in Nashville who offered to fill the bass position and assume the role as co-vocalist in January 2016.

Thus began the career of the current The Persuaded lineup. The band has since released two singles, toured extensively, and has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the Christian rock, and metalcore industry. 

The newest release, a highly anticipated debut full length record titled Dawn Of Destruction, is currently in production and set to release Late 2017/Early 2018.
