The Beautiful Letdown by Switchfoot The Beautiful Letdown by Switchfoot
If I ever come around with a person who never heard of Switchfoot, I would highly recommend this Album (other than The Best Yet). All well written songs, I personally love the lyrics of "Twenty-Four",...

This record is CRUNKTASTIC! Although I'm not really a dancing breakdance kind of person, I did enjoy it. The CD has all 3 F's; funky, fun, and fresh! However, without "I Love You To Death", "Never...

4 1/2 stars for a pretty good CD!! Not the best, still like Oh! Gravity. way more :D Like many other people, I do feel that the songs are "depressing" but at the end Jon gives the message that lets you...

"Oh! Gravity.", what a random name for a CD xD
I love it! This CD is super good, like..WOW!!
I liked Switchfoot back then when I was into mainstream music, but THIS CD made me love them :D I seriously didn't know they were this good, and live even BETTER!!

I got this Album along with the "Nothing Is Sound" Album on my first concert with them, they ROCKED!! I'm telling you, Jon is something else.

Anyways, this CD is packed with both sour and sweet songs. Sour as hyper-active guitar strumming/tabbing and Sweet as mellow acoustics. If you ever plan to get one of their CDs, get THIS one, it's the best out of all their other ones in my opinion. Love love love love their song "Awakening", it's all good ;)

Over all the Albums from Relient K, this one is the BEST so far. Matty went really into more mature topics, rather than just his high school expiriences and whatnot. In an interview, he did say that his goal for this CD was to show the audience the other side of him.

This is an awesome CD!! Definitely not your average Album, the lyrics are amazing. They're all simple words but have a deep meaning to it. It was so good, that they became my favorite band of all times :D My favorite song is in there, "Devastation And Reform". I just love what it talks about, basically what every Christian has to go through. "Up And Up" is another great song, very catchy. But all the songs are awesome anyways. A MUST buy!!

This was my first Christian CD!!! Wo0o0o!!!
My church got them to come for a youth conference, Fuego, which was flipping awesome.
I love the guys, so I had to meet them :D In the end, I got their autographs on the CD cover and on a band picture contraption.

Other than that...the CD is great and worth buying it. All the songs are well written, coming from the heart straight to God, and have an exciting beat to it. "The Real" is my favorite song from them so far. Can't wait for their next Album!!
