Creative, In A Monster-Sort of Way | Posted November-06-2009
What a monster album. And by that I mean what an amazing album. From start to finish it's one unique track after another. Going like no other rock star has gone before: country (as shown in "Hand Grenade". From the rockin' ("Books & Books", "Want To" "Young Again") to the poppy ones ("Hands", "Souls On Ten"). This is one of the best of 2009.

A Taste That Longs You To Have More | Posted October-24-2009
Yes........
The most funnest EP ever.
Monster EP brings 3 Monster Monster tracks and two exclusive b-sides that are fun, poppy, and just plain rockin'. "Lonely Wheel" and "Hands" sound amazing. "Monster" is a heart-heavy track that explains that God created us, and we are not ugly people. We are all beautiful people in His Image. "July" is also a really good track. "Birmingham" reminds me of Green Day. All together now, this is an awesome prequel to what will be the Best of 2009.

Calm and Heavy | Posted October-23-2009
The first record not from Tooth & Nail is pretty well-done. Though my problem is that there's just a bit too much the same from Cities. Plus the "Feel Good Drag" sounded way too similar than to the first version. But anyway this is an awesome album. For all you Anberlin fans that like hearing the same exact thing.

Diggin' | Posted October-21-2009
I heard of this band when the song "Scottish", and I thought when I heard this the significance of Slipknot and Killswitch Engage combined. When I heard the album, the insanity level was very high. Super riffs, nonstop use of double bass pedals, that was cool. This is something I would recommend not too highly but very much.

Favorite New Band | Posted October-21-2009
This literally was the second time I heard August Burns Red. First time, not diggin' it. But when I hear Constellations, there's nothing but musical creativity and screaming until your lungs die. I highly recommend this album, and so does my friend and my DAD!

My New Discovery | Posted October-21-2009
They were described as "The Beatles circa Srgt. Peppers and Relient K". I can hear that significance. This album is musically creative and poppy fun. Highly recommend this for any Relient K fan.

The Best Ever | Posted October-19-2009
"Forget And Not Slow Down" is the most creative and amazing album ever. That's Matt Thiessen for you. Sitting alone near a lake, writing unique lyrics.
