Wow. I mean WOW wow. There is no putting this down. I barely blinked certain that I was going to miss something somehow. And no matter how much you tell yourself that its a story, you'll find yourself urging the characters on, sharing in their triumphs, feeling their disappointments, and being shattered when something goes wrong. My only complaint was that I reached the end far too soon.
Well done Mr. Dekker. Well done.

This book was simply amazing. The struggle for the heart of one young woman had me captivated from page one. I was reading heart in mouth as I flipped the pages. The storyline was complex and at once completely and utterly believable. This is the way real people are. And this is how God pursues us. Amazing work.
