Come Together | Posted July-30-2008
Definitely one of my favorite Third Day albums. I was never really into the country stuff untill Third Day! I guess their style really captures me especially on this album. I never would've seen myself loving a song like "It's Alright" but I do. It's probobly my favorite song on this album. Other songs I love include "Come Together" (which is a great rock opener), "Show Me Your Glory" (love the lyrics on this one), and "Nothing Compares" (lyrics as well!). This album is definitely a great listen for any christian music fan. It's an album filled with great lyrics through country and rock music. One album you won't regret having!!!

Great Music Here!! | Posted July-30-2008
Another totally awesome album from Avalon! This album is filled with great music, wonderful lyrics and awesome vocals. Through this album Avalon released 4 #1 Hits including "Take You At Your Word", "In Not Of", "Can't Live A Day", and "Always Have, Always Will", which I myself agree deserve to be #1 hits. I love this album and every song on it. You start of with a nice upbeat pop opener (Take You At Your Word) and that song just keeps you wanting to here the rest of the album. Next comes the great "In Not Of" that speaks about being in this world but not of it. The rest of the album is a great listen. Other great songs, to me atleast, include the beautiful ballad "I'm Speechless" and the techno/dance "Let Your Love". This is one album thats for any christian music fan!!!

Voice From Home - FFH | Posted July-17-2008
This is a great album from FFH. This album is an album they made that is pretty much from God to the person listening. What i mean is that each song is sung as if God were speaking directly to you. You see that in every song. One great song for example is "Can't Let Go" which is my favorite song off of this album. The song is very straight to the point that God can't and will never let go of his children. He always holding on to us whether we run or try to hide from him. The song says that he doesn't even know how to let go of us. That is awesome! Another awesome song is "Great Big Problem". This one says that Gods big problem is that he can never run out of love for his children. Awesome album! Each time i hear it, it speaks to me in many many ways and just makes me love God even more. This album just shows that Gods love for us is endless and each song whether upbeat or ballad shows that in a great way. All types of music in this one and definitely a great message we all need to hear! Definitely one to pick up and add to your music collection!

Great Stuff! | Posted July-16-2008
I took a shot at getting this cd by turning in my NRT points for it and i honestly got to say that i'm glad i did. I'm familiar with Michael Englishs music but more of his older stuff. In this album his style of music does change a bit but for the better. I love his new sound and his voice is the same but fits great with his new sound. This album is definitely filled with great lyrics and most of the songs, not all of them, speak of his redemption and making mistakes but also that our God is a forgiving God and he accepts us and is with us no matter what we go through. I love the cd opening song "Sanctuary". It has a nice soft rock tone to it. I also love, and is probably my favorite song on this album, "Break Through". The lyrics in that song are awesome and the sound of the song sounds like one that Casting Crowns would have done. The rest of this cd is great as well! Keeps your ears tuned! Michael English made a great come back on this album and i recommend it for all ears!

Jody at his Best! | Posted July-03-2008
Jody McBrayer has been with Avalon for years and while there he stepped out for a bit to record a solo album. This solo album called "This is Who I Am" shows us that Jody McBrayer has a stunning voice with Avalon or without. Ever since I got this album i fell in love with it. From the opening track to the ending track you'll stay hooked on this album. You have many different types of music on here from r&b, some latin-salsa, and those powerful ballads you know from Avalon. This album features the #1 Hit "Then to Ever Live Without Me". Jodys voice throughout this album is incredible. You can definitely see that in the songs "Love Can Break Your Fall" and "There For Me". The lyrics in this masterpiece are also great. Whats good is that this album has a nice flow of music. It opens with nice upbeat sounds then flows through to amazing ballads and vocals and then ends again with nice upbeat sounds. This is definitely a two thumbs up album and one that everyone should have!

Great Album | Posted July-02-2008
Brain Littrel has always had a great voice and he continues to prove that on his "Welcome Home" album. I first heard his "Welcome Home" single on the radio and i really liked it so i decided to buy his album and check out the rest of his songs and I'm glad I did. This album is filled with great songs and great lyrics and of course Brians great voice. I really do like every song but the ones that stand out to me the most are "Wish", "Angels and Heroes", and "My Answer is You". Those 3 would have to be my favorites on this album but again i do like all songs. This album is great for worship especially with the track "We Lift You Up". That song is a great motivator to get you to worship. Every other song moves you in a different way and has a great meaning to it. This is an awesome album and I highly recommend it for any christian music fan!

Great Work From Smitty! | Posted June-23-2008
Another great album from the awesome voice of Michael W. Smith! He has been making great music ever since the 80's and continues to do so today. If you want an album with great music from him this is one to pick up. This album opens up with the great track "Here I Am" then moves on to the beautiful title track "Healing Rain". This album continues through with great music of all sorts. Even a little bit of gospel on this album with the song "Hang On" (well it sounds a bit goespel to me). This album also has a powerful song, which is my favorite on this album, called "We Can't Wait Any Longer". This song talks about how we as people, whether Christian or not, should be reaching out and helping those in the world who are less fortunate than us in many ways. That song speaks to me everytime i hear it and the music and Michaels voice just adds more to the greatness of that song. This album also has a remade classic song called "Bridge Over Troubled Water" which is a great remake from Michael if you ask me! So agin if you are looking for great music form Smitty this is definitely one of his albums to pick up. You won't go wrong with it!
