Nice album | Posted September-09-2007
Easily one of Canada's most talented up-and-coming rock bands, Ontario-based Article One combines violin, guitar, and three-part vocal harmonies to create a reminiscent yet inventive sound. Comprising founding brothers Nathan Piche (vocals/guitars/piano) and Matthew Piche (vocals/violin) as well as Dave De Smit (vocals/drums), Article One began playing locally in 2003 alongside the release of a five-song EP. An immediate buzz followed the trio, and they were asked to join The Elms' fall tour in 2004. Shortly thereafter, the band released its first full-length CD, self-titled, which prompted its busiest touring season to date. Among those performances was Kingdom Bound's International Talent Search, where Article One walked away with the winning title. The band has played more than 70 shows this past fall alone and was most recently nominated for New Artist of the Year at Gospel Music Association Canada's Covenant Music Awards

Put the knife away that’s not what anybody needs | Posted September-04-2007
Saw the dvd it was worth every second watching it.
Jon Micah Sumrall has an beautiful voice.

Can't you see, we're crushing the hearts of the innocent
We're teaching them to fail
And how it breaks me to see how we're living and punishing the ones that need us to care
To see them hurting
Feels like knuckles to the back of my head

Rip The Seam | Posted September-03-2007
Wow what an lyrics read it your self need i say more YOUR WORTH MORE THAN THIS

Five words, five words is all it would take.
Five words to change your heart and mind.
In the heat of the sun I know you're the only one.
You still cant' hold yourself together.
Alone... Alone... All alone you have this conversation to satisfy your most intimate inner thoughts.
Then you bite your lip when it matters most.
A shade of red in sight.
Can you taste the blood?
Taste it on your lips.
Rip the seam.
Then I'll show you how the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
In your silence we are louder.
When the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
Your growing imagination preparing you for what your heart requires to say.
Then you bit your lip when it matters most.
A shade of red in sight.
Can you taste the blood? Taste it on your lips.
Rip the seam.
Then I'll show you how the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
In your silence we are louder.
When the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
Five words, repeating over in your head.
That's all you ever have to do.
Five words, repeating over in your head.
That's all you ever have to do.
Five words.
Is it really that hard to say you're worth more that this?
1) You're
2) worth
3) more
4) than
5) this.
Rip the seam.
Then I'll show you how the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
In you silence we are louder.
When the strings become the stitches in your mouth.
