Relient K At first, I didn't like this album at all. It's hard to top Mmhmm, so it really disappointed me. Many months later, after deciding to relisten to it, I found that it wasn't as bad as I originally thought...

Anberlin Prior to listening to Cities, I didn't care much for the lead's vocals. In fact, at times, I thought them to be a bit annoying.
Overall, this album is really pretty good. My favorite three tracks are...

Disciple I'm a big disciple fan, so my review is bound to be biased. I'm a fan of their newer stuff, but their older stuff is classic stuff. They never fail to deliver a great sound with amazing lyrics....

At first, I didn't like this album at all. It's hard to top Mmhmm, so it really disappointed me. Many months later, after deciding to relisten to it, I found that it wasn't as bad as I originally thought it was. I wouldn't say it is the best CD in the world, but I can now say it isn't the worst.
My least favorite song on there (excluding the crayon song...) would be Faking My Own Suicide. It was a cute thought, but if you really think about it, that song is really messed up.
My favorite track would hands down be Deathbed. Nice and unusual time signature changes...interesting set of lyrics.

...goes the CD. Pretty much all I listened to for 2 weeks. I can't stress how good this CD is. The only song that kinda feels out of place is the title song, but other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone with a metal mouth or lookin for something awesome.
My favorite tracks are: Lead Us Home, Thorns, Follow The Wolves, and Fiction Kingdom.

They're still pretty new as a band I think. There are some really solid songs on this CD and it's a lot more vocally stable than other stuff they've put out, but you can tell they still have a lot of growing to do musically. I'm not pushing them completely aside just yet. This album has peaked my interest just enough to make me curious as to what's next for them.

I got this album a WHILE ago, but I still enjoy listening to it every now and then. Promise is a good song, and you've probably heard it on a christian rock station at one point or another. Unique vocals, nice sound.

I admit, I hadn't previously listened to too much AILD, but after this album, I will be definitely keeping up with them. Strong vocals, nice melodies and guitars. I'm listening to The Sound Of Truth at this very moment. Check it out.

First off, I'd like to say that I'm surprised Veggie Tales made it to the library of CD reviews.
I personally do not own this album, nor do I listen to it on a daily basis. My little sister had this CD somehow and I was forced to live back my Veggie Tale days with each track.
I don't know how to rate this, but I will say that listening to these classic silly songs was fun in itself. You can't go wrong with Larry.

I must admit, this CD grew on me after a while. "I'm So Sick" is a popular one...though everytime I hear it on the radio I get mad that they cut out her screaming.
It's been quite a while since the last good female screamer. I think flyleaf certainly has room for improvement, but I was generally pleased with this CD.
Don't compare her with Amy Lee from Evanescence because they are completely different...
It was interesting hearing the song about Cassi. Nice take on that one. I can feel you all around me...another pretty solid song. I guess overall, this CD will satisfy the tastes of those who like "out-from-the-dark" lyrics and a zing to current day screamers.
