Great CD | Posted September-09-2007
This CD is great, with songs talking about who God really is. "Take Away" is a great song that has really touched me, and was really encouraging to me when my grandfather passed away earlier this year. The whole CD is great and a definate must have.

Pure Metal | Posted September-09-2007
This CD is excellent. face melting guitar riffs, superb double bass, and great vocal combination of singing and screaming. Just about every song on A chorus of Obliteration is the telling of an Old Testament Bible story. This CD is amazing, but if you have the chance to see them live DO IT. they don't tour very often, but their show is even better then the CD, which is a great buy!

its ok, but its no Chorus of Obliteration | Posted September-09-2007
This CD is definitly a step in the wrong direction for the showdown. The songs are not as heavy and resembles the metal of the 70s and 80's, the kind of thing that you would expect to hear at a NASCAR race. The CD is ok but if your looking new to the showdown buy Chorus... instead

Very Good | Posted September-08-2007
I saw flyleaf live on the Justice and Mercy tour and after that show I went out and bought their cd. The cd has a lot of great edgier songs with a few ballads to even out the mix. a great CD

This CD is Gold (or should I say Diamond?) | Posted September-08-2007
Most re-releases are not worth shelling out 12 bucks for a few new songs, but this re-release is different. The three new songs are heavier and have more of a rock edge, but still keep the family force 5 crunk sound. The new songs are awesome and are more spirital then most of the other older songs.

I just bought this CD off of iTunes last week and it has not left my cd players and iPod since. Every song is extremly catchy and the whole album is non stop, in your face CRUNK. Definitly worth every penny

Good First CD | Posted July-10-2007
Stellar Karts first release, All Gas. No Brake.. is a solid first release for the band, but they still have a lot of room to grow. The first song on the CD, Student Driver, is a strong song with lyrics like, "I'm just a student driver
And I need Your help to guide me
Cause on my own I'm nothing." There are some very good worship songs on the album such as "Finish Last." Two problems that this album has is (one) its length (the entire CD is just over 30 minutes long), and some of the lyrics are cheesy and seem like they should be vacation bible school songs. Overall this is a good record and a great addition to any punk rock or worship music fan's collection.
