Robert Pierre's debut album is a great start to his now blossoming music career. Since Pierre is just 14 on the album he still has his angelic child voice giving him a wide range of singing. Robert's parents were a part of the song writing and helped Robert to have songs that were meaningful to him and would touch other peoples lives as well.

I view Pierre's song On Faith Alone as his anthem for his life, and an anthem for others to adopt. Towards the end of the song Pierre sings:
Sola Fide which is basically Latin for On Faith Alone.

On the contrary.... I love it!!! :D | Posted April-28-2010
On the contrary [to lampafan's comment]... I think this is their best album to date.

Their vocals have matured to an outstanding level. All the lyrics on this album have real depth and meaning to them and send you the right message as to what/Who is The Real Thing.

I just love how the producers and songwriters took their voices and gave them each at least one song to lead on and showcase their vocals.

Jordan is actually sounding more like a boy! [Not a bad thing that his voice was high... it made him blend with the girls a whole lot nicer... but then there were some people I know that thought he was a girl... so his slightly deepened voice is good... :D And they can have so many more different harmonies and such now that they have a broader range... :D]

The Carol i/y nes actually sound like young women now, instead of little girls... :D

The energy, fun, and great messages packed into each song is sooo great! This C-D could be liked by a whole age range of people... :D

I love their song Overwhelmed It's a nice blend of harmonies and who takes the lead vocals... Jordan takes lead on the verses and then drops into a harmony during the chorus and the girls take over the lead... :D

The Real Thing is a great title track and gets out the message of their faith in Jesus loud and clear.

Before The Sun Goes Down is a great song reminding you what the Bible says about forgiveness: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, Ephesians 4:26b

It's All About You Is such a great song that shows the heart of what they do with phrases like:
I just wanna sing and dance, like everyday, don't wanna stop, turn it down, is that okay? And when they ask just what's got me going so crazy, I'll let them know , It's all about You.

Awesome | Posted February-22-2010
This album is simply amazing! This is by far my favorite album from TobyMac, at least for now. :D
The first two remixes are awesome, but I think that the original of 'Tonight' is the better song; but that could just be my opinion of things. lol :)
Haven't had a chance to check out the DVD yet but am looking forward to seeing the making of 'Tonight'

I'm pretty sure that this is my favorite TobyMac album. The musical diversity/variety makes the album even better and shows you how flexible TobyMac is with switching between genres.
'Tonight' has an awesome message to it. 'Tonight' reminds me of my regional youth retreat in the winter and camp in summer with these lyrics:

I wanna feel a new day/[There's gotta be more than this]/I wanna live a new way/[There's gotta be more]/I wanna feel a new day/[There's gotta be more]/I wanna live a new way/[There's just gotta be more]
Right here, right now/Under the stars, I promise you my heart/Cause it starts tonight!
We wanna rise,/We wanna touch the other side/[It starts tonight!]/We wanna soar/We wanna reach right out for more

That is the cry of the teens hearts. Most of them are already saved, and they just know that 'there's gotta be more' to the Christian walk than what they're living they want to feel something new in their walk. The ones that aren't saved know there's more to life than just existing and they want to know what else there is to life.
Then the chorus talks about the relationship/re-commitment with God starting, and how they just want more of God and they want to fly away from their problems into God comforting arms.
At least that's how I see the song.

'Hold On' is my personal favorite on the album because it reminds me that God is in control of what I'm going through and that he's always there to help me even when I feel like he's not. It also reminds me to thank God for being there with me through the storms in my life.

You can find out by reading this set of set three Sierra Jensen books. These books are so down to earth and real that you can't help but be swept up by the storyline and enter yourself into The life of Sierra Jensen.

Heartbreak, fear, joy, tears, worry, and fun. Sierra is just like most teens;things don't go as planned, because God is in control. A touch of romance, hate, good times, and bad times; Sierra has things that will relate to and to me. Antone will enjoy reading these books.

I Love these books! I have the whole series, all separate books instead of sets. :D I think as of now I read through the entire series about four times! I love how these books are written, they pull the reader in and make them feel as though they are sierra, or at least a part of her life. :)

Brother sister duo, Brandon and Brittany, have an awesome sound! Before they were the duo Guest they were part of the group Jump5.[The first C-D I ever owned was a jump5 one! so maybe I'm a bit biased... lol:)] I've heard their song 'Cover My Eyes' and love it! I can't wait for them to come out with more songs and albums!
