Jason Castro | Posted November-22-2010
Jason Castro. His songs are good, his voice interesting, lyrics nice but it was his interview with K-Love that made this album stand out.
After first hearing this album, I thought it was just like all the rest of the Christian-Secular artists' works. Usually the gig is, write a song that doesn't mention someone specifically, that could pertain either to your girlfriend/boyfriend or Jesus by saying 'You' all the time.
But in his interview he said that his debut album was a love album for his wife because by being on the road a lot, he missed her. But with this second album, he really wanted to sing for God and about God.
That made me listen again to the album. I'm glad Jason has stepped up and sang about his faith. It makes me respect him more.

Desert Rain | Posted October-12-2010
I liked Paul Wilber's other CDs because of the way he incorporated his messianic beliefs into the songs. They were a great combination of Yeshua(Jesus) and his Jewish background.
This CD, Desert Rain, doesn't disappoint at all. It is even more special because the songs were recorded live in Israel during a massive prayer and petitioning for the land and all of its inhabitants. This CD really touches your heart because it is singing about an issue on God's heart. When you learn to sing along with them, your spirit really grows.

Eternity Invades through worship | Posted September-14-2010
It is fantastic to hear someone with talented vocals, good tune and most importantly, amazing lyrics! Vicky Beeching has the voice and the sound that makes her nice to listen to, but it's the heartfelt praise that sends this album into the 5 star range.
It's been a long time since I've bought a full album rather than just a song or two. But Eternity Invades is one that I would buy not only for myself, but for friends and family members.

Hmmm... | Posted September-02-2010
I'm going to be honest. I read this book as a stand alone and half way through I realized that it was second in a series. But that doesn't help it any.
I like Ted Dekker and his writings but this one was a total snooze. It bored me out of my mind. I had a hard time finishing it. True it had some action packed parts but the characters and the plot itself weren't as strong as they could have been. Carl as a character (let alone the main one) was annoying. He made people want to slap him half the time. The clingy relationship between him and Kelly was much like the Bella/Edward relationship except swapped.
I've already said it, but I'll say it again. Ted Dekker is a good author and can knock them out of the park... this just wasn't one of them.
But I still suggest reading it for yourself and drawing your own opinions.

Fantastic! They have either become better or they have retained their wonderful talent. I agree more with the first. The Washington Projects have bumped up the talent. Great sound, excellent lyrics and of course, super vocals.

Voices In The Night | Posted June-02-2010
So far, their Voices In The Night album has taken a step up for the good. A few of the songs resemble past works but overall, this CD is better than their others.
