This Is An Outrage!

Capital Lights I absolutely love this CD. I heard the song Outrage and I went out and bought the Cd soon after. I think every song on the CD is great. It's so upbeat and fun, and I love how the lead singer sings. The...
Hawk Nelson Is My Friend

Hawk Nelson Not extremely happy with the new CD. But it was basically exactly what I expected. There's nothing really different here from the last CD. The songs are still catchy and fun to listen to, but it's not...
Hello, Good Friend

The Rocket Summer At this point The Rocket Summer isn't quite as experienced, and his music is a little less mature, but this CD still has a lot potential. I really like how more of the songs are piano-based on this CD....
Good Debut | Posted September-23-2007
I thought this was a really good debut for a solo artist, especially since it's a side project for him. I like how Gillepsie made this CD different from underoath's stuff. Amazing Because It Is, is truly amazing, and the best version of the song I've ever heard. Say This Sooner, Stop It, and Dirty and Left Out are also all awesome songs.
Dawn Escapes- Falling Up | Posted September-23-2007
I didn't really like this one. The first time you listen to it, it sounds pretty amazing, but hten after a few listens, you realize that every single song basically sounds the same. I'd be fine with a couple of those songs on one CD,b ut they really needed to expand their horizons and try some new stuff. It really got tiring hearing the same things over and over.
The Afters- I Wish We All Could Win | Posted September-10-2007
A decent CD. It's pretty much your average light rock worship CD. Some of the songs are easily forgotten, but they've got a few songs that stand, out, like Someday and All That I Am. i really like the lyrics in most of their songs because they're really powerful. I aklso like how they switch the lead vocalist throughout the CD.

Quite a different from their last albums, with a more emo, intense feel, and less of the catchiness from their old albums. But I still really liked it, with the songs with strings in them, which makes teh songs really intense. Plus, Stephen Christian's voice is so distince and unique, it really helps the band stand out.
The Fold- Secrets Keep You Sick | Posted August-28-2007
I think this album is good for anyone who likes bands such as Hawk Nelson and Relient K because they sound a lot like them. While their sound might not be very unique, I think they're very talented. I like how they even out their number of fast and slow songs. My personal fave is Faster Still, which is actually a slow song and very beautiful.
Not Bad | Posted August-24-2007
Everyday Sunday has been out there for a while, but have never been huge. I think this album could help them get more fans, though. The title song, Wake Up! Wake Up! is extremely catchy, and the lyrics are dead-on what I think a lot of people actually feel. Most of their songs are slower, but still nice. The lead singer's voice is so unique, which I love. The lyrics are all great, and I like how their more open with thir Christianity. My only problem was that I wished they had more of the upbeat, catchy songs, but other than that, it's definitely worth looking into if you're a fan of softer pop/punk songs, which could also be considered close to worship.
Hawk Nelson- Smile, It's the End of the World | Posted August-23-2007
Definitely better than their first album. It is less amateur, and you can tell they've gotten better. I like how they tried some new stuff, although lead singer Jason Dunn's screaming wasn't very good. I enjoy every song, but some high points for me are the songs The One Thing I Have Left, Everything You Ever Wanted, Something On My Mind, and Hello. I just find that these songs are really catchy and show how much talent they really have. Great job altogether.
Relient K- 5 Score and 7 Years Ago | Posted August-21-2007
A really awesome CD, one of their best that they've come up with for years. I love how they mixed up their different sounds, including some silly, catchy stuff that's more like their old style, and some newer, harder sounds. I especially love how they added some really unique stuff, like the first song, which is only Matt's voice doing all of the music, and the last song, Deathbed, which is almost 12 minutes long, is beautiful and interesting the whole way through. So, overall, an amazing album.
