All I can say that this book really touched me and caused me to see a lot of things differently. It was moving to go through the book and see the change that happened in Mack. The renewal and reconciliation were two beautiful themes that ran through the book; people will undoubtedly be able to apply those to their own lives too.

One more comment, if you are someone who is very theologically oriented, i would not advise this, seeing that not all aspects of the book are in line with the scripture and other theological ideas and will probably cause you to dismiss the book completely.

Disappointing | Posted May-27-2009
After finishing Kiss, all i can say was that i was disappointed. I had expected something else from Ted Dekker. But that doesn't detract from the story he has to tell, it is a very different story than you will expect if you expect the usual from Ted Dekker. I can't say that i like this version of Ted, nor can i say that i'm too excited about the rumored book that he will also be coauthoring with Erin Healy. Though i shouldn't shoot it down before i've read it. But to continue about Kiss; the characters were very well developed(as usual) and the plot line also had its twists(also as usual. However, i found the end very disappointing, i had expected something more, don't want to spoil the book for those that haven't read it. But lets just say the ending was abrupt and didn't fully explain the end. Though i might be wrong and probably should read it again. Overall, so far definitely not my favorite book of Ted, but it is worth the read.

Another Thriller | Posted May-27-2009
Another great thriller from Ted Dekker, though i can't say that it ranks among his best. Boneman's Daughter had many themes running through it and it was very enjoyable to read and to see how the themes developed throughout the book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, so to speak, not knowing what twist Ted Dekker would give the story on the next page. Though he didn't have as many twists as I expected and i was expecting one or two more twists at the end, since I think it ended quite abruptly. Overall, Boneman's Daughters was very thrilling to read especially to find out how far Ryan Evans would go. I definitely advise this book to anyone who is need of another great book, just be advised that it isn't always as pleasant to read as other books, pleasant or not, it will change you.

50 Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die | Posted April-14-2008
I read this book under the title "50 Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die" and it really is one of the best devotional books I've ever read. I had never known that there were so many reasons why He came to do for my sins. After reading this book you will appreciate Jesus's death for you so much more.

Interesting Book | Posted April-10-2008
The book was a lot better than the movie, I didn't like how a lot of details were excluded from the movie(though the movie was really good too). This was a very well written book about the dangers of occults or sects with in very good plot line and plot twists.

Deception | Posted April-10-2008
A really good ending to the Ollie Chandler series, at least as far as I know, this was the concluding book to the series, if you could call it that. I really enjoyed this book and just couldn't put it down as soon as I started. Half wat through the book I stopped guessing who it was, because each time I had guessed, I was wrong. I was really impressed by that aspect of Deception. Another thing that I was impressed by were the moments when Chandler as unconscious and that all evidence pointed to him after those moments.

Blink of an Eye | Posted April-10-2008
This book is very different than most of Ted Dekker's books. I really enjoyed how the plot shifts from one place to another and ofcourse the Dekker style plot twists at times that you least expect it. One of the nicest things in this book is how is shows the differences between muslim culture and western culture and how love crossed that bridge too.

Great Book | Posted April-09-2008
There is an obvious similarity between this book and C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters. This and the Ishbane conspiracy are two really great novels by Randy Alcorn. Some parts of this book really make you think that perhaps something similar is also happening to you and it is frightening. I really like how Lord Foulgrin's Letters ended, I won't spoil it, but the ending was very well written, evil never prevails.

Great Book but partially expected more | Posted April-09-2008
Monster was a real good read and enjoyed every single detail of it. However i was slightly disappointed that Frank Peretti didn't include any obvious Good vs. Evil in Monster as apparent in many of his other books. The good and evil aspect that is in alot of his other books was really what pulled me to read it and I expected that in their too. Monster is still a really great book one of my favorites, however I wish Frank Peretti had included something more.

One of the best combinations of authors ever | Posted April-09-2008
After reading this book, you will think twice about entering an abandoned house. The suspense and twists plots from Ted Dekker and the spiritual aspect(seen in many of his books) and from Frank Peretti make for a truly great book that forces you to turn the pages no matter how creepy or frightening it is.
